This article will guide you to set up a basic network using TP-Link Omada devices according to the following example.
– In this example model we will use the following devices: router ER605 (TL-R605), switch TL-SG2008P, wifi EAP225, controller OC200. The devices are connected according to the diagram below.
– Power on the devices and wait for the devices to complete booting. First we will set up the OC200 device, on the OC200 device wait for the cloud light to flash.
– Go to page https://omada.tplinkcloud.com/log in or register if you don’t have an account.
– Select Add Controller to add a new controller.
– Section Hardware controllersselect Add.
– Select next.
– Import Device key bottom of the device, then select next.
– Finally choose Done.
– After adding Controller, select the iconto access the controller.
– Select Let’s Get Started to start setup.
– Name the controller, select country or region, and timezone, model. Then choose next.
– The OC200 device will detect local devices, select the devices that need to be managed and select next.
– Set up SSID and password for Wifi network, select next.
– Create an administrator account, you will use this account to log in to the controller when accessing it directly from local, select next.
– Review the configured configurations, select finish to complete.
– So you have completed setting up a basic Network using TP-Link’s Omada device line.
