By default, all APs in the Network will broadcast all enabled SSIDs. But in some cases certain SSIDs should only be broadcast from a specific AP or group of APs.

1. Configure Tag for AP:
– To enable SSID on selected APs, we must first configure it AP tagsbelow will guide you to configure AP tagging:
– In Dashboardmove Wireless > Monitor > Access points.
– Click to check the checkbox of the APs you want to tag.
– Select Editand select Tags.
– Enter the tag name you want, select Add.
2. Specify which APs will broadcast a specific SSID:
– Go Wireless > Configure > SSID availability.
– Select the SSID you want from the entry SSID menu.
– Section Per-AP availability select “This SSID is enabled on some APs…”
– Select the tag in the box Select tags.
– After selecting the tag you will get the following.
– Now only the AP with the specified tag will broadcast the SSID you configured.
3. Example model:
– Many tags used to broadcast in many areas in the building.
– Desired results:
- Guest SSID plays in the Reception area
- Internal SSID broadcast in the Employee area.
- IT SSID development in the IT sector.
– Configure AP according to the following tags:
- Tag AP1 with “Guest”
- Tag AP2 with “IT” and “Internal”

- Tag AP4 with “Internal”
